This Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can manage them.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept optional analytics. It measures public-page visits and successful race requests, including QR/homepage source, selected race category and bib/package preference. We do not send the form’s name, email or custom race text to Google Analytics. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and your consent choice last up to 180 days. You can change your choice using Cookie settings. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from submitting a race request. Google processes analytics data according to its Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to support site functionality, remember your preferences, and improve your experience.

Runoot uses the following categories of cookies:

When you first visit Runoot, a cookie banner will ask for your consent regarding optional cookies. You can accept or reject optional cookies at any time.
Essential cookies remain active because they are strictly necessary for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the platform.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, although this may affect the functionality of the platform.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by trusted third-party service providers used for authentication, hosting, or analytics.
For optional analytics, Runoot uses Google Analytics 4 (Google).
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them manually.
Authentication cookies (sb-*) persist for the duration of your login session. The consent cookie (cookie_consent) persists for 6 months.
