When you first visit Runoot, a cookie banner will ask for your consent regarding optional cookies. You can accept or reject optional cookies at any time.
Essential cookies remain active because they are strictly necessary for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the platform.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, although this may affect the functionality of the platform.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by trusted third-party service providers used for authentication, hosting, or analytics.
For optional analytics, Runoot uses PostHog. Analytics requests are routed through a first-party proxy endpoint at /ph on the Runoot domain to minimize third-party tracking.
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them manually.
Authentication cookies (sb-*) persist for the duration of your login session. The consent cookie (cookie_consent) persists for 12 months.
